Braindead might have been off but it was in the heat of the moment.  I stick by my larusa is an a****le comment, though.  "Throw at Braun's head.  If you miss, thow at his head again.  He can't keep ducking forever."  While that may not be an actual quote I guarantee that's how that douchebag thinks.

Also, I'd put a good bit of last nights loss on Ron Washington.  Feliz had a rough 9th but Darren Oliver?  Walking the one-world-series-game wonder Pujols to face, by and far, the best hitter in the series?  Then, just giving the tying run up with how deep he had the outfielders playing?

The guy who caught the winning HR works in the same hospital with me. I read his name this morning and said "Wait, that guy's name is all over my charts."

I want the Cardinals to win, but my daughter REALLY wants it. She wasn't really aware of sports in 2006 yet.

I was supposed to play a gig tonight. The venue is deciding whether to cancel due to likely poor attendance. I was at a gig in 2006 when the band announced we'd won. It will be very wierd to be announcing scores from a stage.
In 2006, I was on the other end of the emotion scale on that one.  I am mostly indifferent about this years.  I went to bed at about the same time though, since Texas was up 7 to 4 when I called it a night.

You are quite a fine person, and I am very fond of you. But you are only quite a little fellow, in a wide world, after all.

Washington has not earned the right to win a WS yet.....Larusa should out manage him tonight to get the ring. ....but if not it will have nothing to do with Washington as a manager, it will be due to Rangers gorilla swings at the plate.

Last night was as like old Rangers........score 25 but loose by 1.

Why can't St. Louis accept that they are sh*t?  Also, is this year not a perfect example of how ridiculous it is that the All-Star Game decides home field advantage?  A team with no business even being in the playoffs hosting the first game of the series.  Baseball itself really does end when the fantasy baseball playoffs end.

They're winning games at the right time. It's not difficult math.

That is true when it comes down to it. I wish that baseball would go back to alternating years for hosting the WS  (AL on odd years and NL on even) or at the very least the team with the best overall record of the final two gets to host games 1,2,6 &7.

I'd like to see them get back to starting the WS on Tuesday night as well. Having the road team host on Friday.Sat and Sunday was the way to go back in the day.

I'm still hoping that the Rangers can do what the Phils and the Brewcrew couldn't do and that's take the series.

Come on Feliz, beat the crappy system and send this series back to where it should have been in the first place: tied in Texas.

Wow, this year's series is giving us a perfect example of how idiotic the All-Star Game deciding home field bullsh*t really is.  God, the cardinals suck.  How is this happening for the second straight year?  David Freese pulling a whats-his-name Giants backup catcher and playing way above his ability.  I mourn for baseball.
