Whatever one may think of Ron Paul, it is macabre how the media ignore him, in light of his polling success, and the amount of apparent support he has, especially among younger voters.

I was watching 'CrossTalk' on Russia Today, this morning, and the dabate was about Newt Gingrich. At numerous points in the discussion, ALL the GOP candidates were metioned, every single one, with the exception of Ron Paul, who was not mentioned once.

I'm sorry, but this is a conspiracy in it's own right. What further evidience do people need, that there is a concerted effort afoot, to prevent this candidate from rising up and challenging the power structure that pulls the strings for both politcal parties. Are people deliberately ignoring reality?
Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!

I should have paired the above link with this one:

^Be careful Dr Paul. If you win in Iowa and then in another state, they will pull a Lee Harvey on you, and this one WILL be a crazy real conspiracy...

Ten, not counting those that have been canceled.  And more to come as they are announced.

A political junkie cardboard cookie for you then. Big smile

Yeah, I agree, and that's a shame, because I really think we'd see who would make the best President of those folks if they had more specific executive-based questions.

What about "third" party candidates? Donald Trump? (yeah right. What a clown). Michael Bloomberg? Ron Paul if he doesn't get the GOP nomination.

In the end I'll think it'll be Romney. Newton is already slippin'. The "smarts" of the GOP held out this cycle to run in 2016.

Edwards might be an even bigger scumbag than Newt.  If that's possible.

Obama is corrupt as anyone (energy bailouts, Fast & Furious) in a system the is set up for corruption.  He's just proven to be an even larger totalitarian than W.  Big government warmonger who is set to sign in a law allowing the indefinite imprisonment of American citizens without charges.  Will you at least think twice about throwing him your vote, slarti, after he signs the NDAA?

Fair enough.  I know a thing or two about Georgia politics and I crack up at the notion of Newt getting the repub nomination.  I freely admit voting for Obama in the primaries and I would have voted for Edwards if he hadn't dropped out already.

I never embraced him so I never dismissed him. As for my understanding, I know cronyism when I see it and having been born and raised in Chicago it was a given. Blago  trying to sell Obamas seat was nothing new, he just got caught.

Yeah hate to give the answer no one wants to hear but politically, he's pretty "clean" if you hate him, think he's a commie or the anti christ than fine but despite the greatest attempts to do so...no one could really pin anything on him.

It's all what you want to believe. He's a corrupt politician to the core, or he's not. I believe the latter, even though he's from Chicago.
He still sucks though, we seriously should've just given Bush a third term, and a fourth while we're at it!

Well I don't really nowLOL though it's got nothing to do with his political roots. More his actions. Pretty much all of them.
It's well known he is from the land of milk of honey...of political corruption but hate to be that cynical guy....like we're getting anything else >_>

I reckon Ron Paul has no real scandals or anything like that.
*ensue massive Paul fellatio festival*

Emanuel resigned as Chief of Staff effective October 1, 2010, in order to pursue a campaign to run for Mayor of Chicago pending the announced retirement of six term incumbent Richard M. Daley. On January 27, 2011, the Illinois Supreme Court reversed a lower court's ruling[7] that had cast doubt on Emanuel's candidacy; the court unanimously held that Emanuel did not abandon his Chicago residency by serving in the White House, thus affirming his eligibility to run for mayor.[8] He won the Mayoral election on February 22, 2011, with 55% of the vote.[9] President Obama appointed William M. Daley, the brother of Emanuel's predecessor as mayor, as Chief of Staff to replace Emanuel.

Open Secrets reported that Emanuel "was the top House recipient in the 2008 election cycle of contributions from hedge funds, private equity firms and the larger securities/investment industry".[52] Securities and investments business interests were the main sector contributing to Emanuel's campaigns in both 2006 and 2008.[53]

He won't need to.  The thing I'm wondering is if he will actually become the evil liberal monster that he's been portrayed as. LOL

I kind of suspect that if republicans have the political power they will find something to try and impeach him on.

If they're smart they won't - he caves in to all of their demands anyway.

The grand irony is they all still hate on him endlessly....damn, maybe the GOP is smarter than I thought!

I do think Bama vs. anyone not Ron Paul is gunna be a victory for Obama.
If by some chance it is Paul...well maybe, I could see him winning.
