John Lennon, Klaus Voorman, and Ringo Starr should've continued on after Plastic Ono Band; they would've been one of the best bands ever

I would suggest "Join Us", "Flood", "Apollo 18", and "They Might be Giants"

re: They Might Be Giants, I've listened to them for many years, I got their first 2 albums when they came out, very cool stuff.  After that, I haven't kept up as closely, but I do have Apollo 18, Flood, John Henry, and all the childrens' albums they did (Here Come the ABCs, Here Come the 123s, Here Comes Science, No!).   The kids ones are actually my favorite -- it could be from playing them so much, a few years ago when my daughter was really into them.  We even went to a concert of theirs based on their childrens' material (a matinee show).

a sunpowered band whos sound feels like the beams of the distent star, touching the frail feathers of mockingbirds in flight, like the colours of the rainbow, and the facets of a fly,

I guess that I have until the 15th to come up with a top metal list of 2012 and until the 25th to come up with a top prog list of 2012.  I suspect that my metal list will probably have a lot of prog metal on it.  Although, my list may be the only one with glam metal and hard rock on it.  ( I think that I can use hard rock releases?)

Lisa: I've grown a futuristic tomato by fertilizing it with anabolic steroids.

Bart: The kind that help our Olympic athletes reach new peaks of excellence?

Lisa: The very same.

I'm surprised that GY!BE is not listed in the top 100 of 2012 for PA.  Marillion's new one isn't included either, which is kind of a shame.

Yea.

I dislike seeing albums that have 20 ratings beat out albums with 200. I don't care if that's how the formula goes - it doesn't make sense to me.
