Library music meets gel. I dig it too.

Bought a download of the 32 track album last night.  I totally love this thing, definitely one of my favorite finds yet.

Gruppo Di Improvvisazione :  Nuova Consonanza 1975. Another Morricone and his jazz band. 1975. Excellent.

J'accuse

Here's one I missed on my initial list.  A rough around the edges, guitar centric modern band.  Imagine a crossbreeding between RPI and an angsty post-punky band ala Mission of Burma or Dinosaur Jr.  There's a few reviews on the site if one wants more info.  A new album has been rumored for some time.

Steve, this album is a "collage" of folk and concrete music. It's a very special and interesting disc.

Enjoyed both albums ("Frrrrrigidaire" and "Out Off") greatly.  Both were on Youtube in their entirety.  At times I was reminded of some mid-period Banco material - such as Garofano Rosso.  Scaled back, low key prog with a playful mood, and a whole lot of intimate, understated beauty.

Indeedy!
That album somehow reminds me of the Berlin School of electronics, even if the feel is omitted elsewhere than in the synths. Maybe I am just mad...
