Ah classical snare, forgot about that. Yea I did that for a little bit, though my buddy typically played the snare parts because he was far better (was in a marching band for 8 years). In my classical band I either played tympani, mallet percussion, or the badass bass drum.
I wish I has Internet to be able to link a YouTube video of what I was thinking.. Oh we'll.

My sister drains funds very quickly, god bless the single child. I know ill not plan to have two kids.. A dog is better anyway :3

We tried to have a second kid, but it didn't take. Had a miscarriage while we were on vacation years ago. That was fun.

My daughter gets sad sometimes because she wishes she had a sister. It eats at us sometimes. Then I think of all the screaming and fighting I'm missing, and I feel better.

You could always adopt or maybe be foster parents if that kind of thing would appeal to you.
Maybe someday I will be that 70-year old guy fathering a child with his 25-year old wife, but unless that happens the child boat has probably sailed for me. I enjoy being an uncle and hanging out with my nephews, but I also enjoy sending them home with mom and dad.
