Over my left shoulder are the twin gothic domes of the Old Royal Naval College at Greenwich by Sir Christopher Wren and over my right shoulder are the four chimneys of The Greenwich Generating Station, as you can see this was not built by Sir Chris nor indeed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott who did such a magnificent Art Deco edifice of power in the more famous Battersea Power Station but follows the more utilitarian style of "Shed with 4 chimneys". 

btw, the reason for standing by the River Thames for several hours today was for the Greenwich Tall Ships Festival where, as you can see from the vista of river-scene behind me, tall ships were in short supply.
