One of the best kept secrets in rock history. Why did this fall through the cracks again?
|
I have their first three albums and like them all. The band broke up and reformed at least three times for various reasons. There were about fifteen members over the years. The early 2000s version broke up because of illness and deaths.

Is that the cover art for Deep Purple's Stormbringer ran through a purple filter?

I think you'd dig it Tony. It's got an Eastern tinge (and about a million instruments) to it that you just might find interesting (I remember you asking for suggestions a little while back ) + Shankar, Billy Cobham, Manu Katche, Youssou N'Dour and many many more featured.

Sweet! I'll check it out. I do indeed love Eastern music.
