This Swedish punk group must hold the world record for the most cryptofascist visual aesthetic ever used by a lyrically left-wing band. There's no way it's not a Laibach-style deliberate trolling gambit, but I'm not sure if they're trolling the far left or the far right.

KAJAGOOGOO - Islands
It's their 2nd album, more 'mature' (for want of a better word), the band ditched Limahl (who was a great frontman vocalist, but, I guess, didn't play an instrument as such) - still firmly in the 'Pop' music vein under Beggs' lead, but more instrumental consideration, occasional odd-time sigs, clever and thoughtful musicianship. One must look further than the 'bubblegum' image and production that initially comes to mind with these guys. I'm certain, as Beggs has shown, these guys could adapt easily to Prog with their skills. The VH1 doco on their reunion is a true musical Fairytale that had a happy ending.
.......and we have one helluva bassist in Beggs who plays a Chapman Stick whilst singing lead in a catchy Pop tune !!
