Giving this a second listen. There's a lot going on here in terms of musical gear-switching within each song's structure, to the point it takes several listens to digest. It is interesting that they draw more in the spacy/psychedelic direction of this style to the point I'm often reminded of YOB as much as Neurosis, but the overall aesthetic is way more black metal-informed than anything I've heard from those two and results in a very different atmosphere. (again most obvious when they speed up)
