Her father died, when she was young. Her mother lost to bitter sorrow. Many men were soon to follow, their lust for lonely Lisa. Using and abusing her but beneath her tears, an enigmatic smile and a constant hope, that love would find a way.

She mourned for her father, taken by a cruel dark sea. Forever lost beneath the waves and on the cliffs, she’d kneel and pray, that chance would overcome her sorrow. The faintest hope, that somehow, somewhere, a flame still burned & held her in its heart.

From the cliffs & rocks

below,  the day she fell,

her body broken. Many came,

their thoughts unspoken.

Frozen to the core.

And all that she craved,

was a loving kiss, a gentle touch,

the warmth of a loving embrace.
But nothing ever came,

from all the men that laid her down,

just long enough, to save their shallow hearts.

Choosing to ignore, this fragile mind, her heart wide open. Falling easy prey to chancers. Fuelled by lust, not love and passion. Day by day they’d eat away, any hope of consolation. Her life a bitter memory. Death the only affirmation. Her burdened soul that can never be released. The chains of sorrow binding her.

To forever mourn, her one & only love.
           
Lonely Lisa. Lonely Lisa. Lonely Lisa, now you are free. Her fathers love, the only love. Taken by a cruel dark sea. Calling out a bitter sweet memory.

Those that helped her fall. Through the wind they'll hear her call. Haunted by their shame. Their nightmare dreams so very real. As Lisa's ghost remains. Her pain they’ll feel.  Their tainted lives can never be the same.

Forlorn and all alone. A simple wooden cross.
Upon the cliff top, braced against the wind rising from the sea. Playing through the purple throng of sweet flowering Bougainvillea. To dance across the sun glazed morn.

With butterflies and dragonflies, in memory of lovely Lisa. Lonely, lonely, lonely. Lovely lonely Lisa.
