I have to admit that the members who kept asking me about the music had the biggest impact on me. I can see that many do love music on this site and perhaps that can be a bridge between peoples that I never thought of.

10-4......this is a music site and since you are new some of use were wondering what your "musical preferences" might be? |
The same answer I gave Padriac: " I'm kind of a AOR Prog fan, if that makes sense? I like Kansas, Styx, Journey, later Genesis and So era Peter Gabriel. This probably sounds a bit campy, but I love Queen and David Bowie. But I don't know if they are actually considered prog rock.

Also in regards to the TX thing, in my 11 years of living there I found that the people there are some of the most friendly, hospitable people I've ever met (in general). I strongly believe that if the majority of people who voted against the recent bill sat down with some transgendered people and were properly educated on what it means to be one, they would be sympathetic to their cause. I think it's a matter of ignorance, not of genuine hate (most of the time).

@Padriac: No, not really, I'm kind of a AOR Prog fan, if that makes sense? I like Kansas, Styx, Journey, later Genesis and So era Peter Gabriel. This probably sounds a bit campy, but I love Queen and David Bowie. But I don't know if they are actually considered prog rock.
