Joy Division by an inconceivably huge margin. Nirvana is easily one of the most overhyped rock bands!

Terrible = music that people with unhealthy mindsets enjoy. Surely you can see why I'd say that about the bands of Ian Curtis and Kurt Cobain.

That's an exaggeration though. I get the appeal of Joy Division.

Nirvana, but both are terrible. Joy Division is one of those things where I have to think that either I'm an alien, or the people who like that band are.

Hmm....I think both bands are a bit overrated but I did enjoy Joy Division in the old days and while Cobain wrote a few decent power grunge songs a lot of their music just isn't that interesting to me.
So,  Joy Division.
 
One does nothing yet nothing is left undone.

I've listened to both many times, and I think Nirvana is overrated and quite bad, and I think Joy Division is decent but extremely boring. So I guess Joy Division.
