It's really nice to see the much-missed Richard Wright performing again in the Delicate Sound of Thunder concert from 1988, bearing in mind he ascended into prog heaven back in 2008. HeartHeartHeartHeartHeart

The fun part of making this list is one song per album.

Always read the first post. Big smile

I was joking, lol.
Don't worry. I knew you were joking, but Cristi takes everything seriously. I don't mind at all if you want to choose all of the tracks from the "Animals" album for your Pink Floyd "compilation", because it's not my thread anyway. Tongue

what if it was your thread? The joke wouldn't have been acceptable, you would have had the same reaction I did, tight? LOL

I take everything seriously?! Really? Confused What I bore I must be... LOL

Porg for short. My love of music doesn't end with prog! Feel free to discuss all sorts of music with me. Odds are I'll give it a chance if I haven't already! :)

There, that was easy.
That sounds complicated. I'm not sure how you would do that without a recording studio at your disposal. Tongue

Hmmm...how about an acoustic album?

Pigs on the Wing (Part I)
Fearless
Grantchester Meadows
Wish You Were Here
Mother

Goodbye Blue Sky
If
Free Four
A Pillow of Winds
Pigs On The Wing (Part II)

Yes, yes...ten songs. But both versions of Pigs on the Wing are 1:24 each.
...a vigorous circular motion hitherto unknown to the people of this area, but destined
to take the place of the mud shark in your mythology...

More - "Cirrus Minor"
Ummagumma - "A Saucerful Of Secrets"
Atom Heart Mother - "Atom Heart Mother"
Meddle - "Echoes"
Obscured by Clouds - "Mudmen"
The Dark Side of the Moon - "The Great Gig In The Sky"

Was sad to leave off "Shine On You Crazy Diamond (1-5)", "Dogs" and "One of My Turns" and much, much more....

I'll do the same as you and choose eight songs from the first eight albums, otherwise I wouldn't know where to start with so many great Pink Floyd songs to choose from. I could make it a double album with sixteen songs, but then that'd be bending the rules a little too much. Smile
