He was awesome in Conan, and what a voice.

This is not him as Darth Vader, but I feel like posting something tro lighten my somber mood. He is one of those actors that I felt some strange charismatic pull towards.

Watching while most appreciating a sunset in the moment need not diminish all the glorious sunsets I have observed before. It can be much like that with music for me.

RIP James Earl Jones, legendary actor/voice actor, known for voicing Mufasa in The Lion Ling, and Darth Vader in Star Wars.

Yep. I forgot about him for the purposes of this thread. I saw him play with the Muffins a few times including once at Progday.

I should have posted it earlier, but forgot due to the intrusion of real life... Billy Swann, bassist of the great Canterbury-affiliated band The Muffins (from the Washington DC area), passed away on August 26 after a long illness. I was lucky to see the band on stage three or four times before they decided to call it quits, and they were always excellent and entertaining to watch. RIP Billy.
