Updated albums 4 & 5 from Julien's list of 52 albums:
This had just "Track title" as track 2. I also added in the track listing of the 12" single version, & the correct release references for the first issues of both versions, from Discogs. No track listing at all (just had the word 'unknown' written there). I also added the correct release reference from Discogs, and swapped a tiny (and blurred after being enlarged) cover photo for the one from RYM's page for the album. Edit: Albums 6 & 7 now also updated: This had 'Track title' as name of track 1, no track 2 'B' side song title, incorrect releases info, and a lousy cover. This had the default text still showing at bottom of track list field 1. Track title (3:04) 2. Track title (9:07) Also no total times, & no releases info. The first eight albums in the list have now all been updated. Edit 2: I've also had a look at album 9 in the list: https://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=26402. It just says 'no info' in both the track listing and musicians info fields, and 'self-released' in the releases info. I couldn't find the detailed information for this album anywhere on line, but it did exist, the cover is correct, and 2002 was the correct year of release. See: https://drownedinsound.com/in_depth/1312600-discover--the-monroe-transfer, and an interview conducted in November 2006 with the band's leader - a guy named Nick Gill: "There were two little albums before 'Electric Old Wire Noise', but they were just made by me, in my lonely room, on a load of crap equipment, with very little idea of what I was doing. There was one called 'wedontknowhowyoufindtimeforallofuslordbutweregratefulthatyoudo' and the second was '67 moons', and there were 50 and 67 copies of them, respectively. At that point I'd never thought of playing live, so there wasn't really any way I could try to sell loads of them; besides, I was making everything, burning all the CDs and making the sleeves by hand, so it seemed sensible to only make a few. They were a bit noisier, and certainly more amateurishly produced, than our actual album. There are a few clips of things on our website, but I don't think we have any particular plans to make anything available. We're still very small and insecure – maybe if we get a bit more established, we'd be confident enough to let early, rougher material out into the world. Most of the stuff we play live is on the first two albums, in early form, though." Their website died a death circa 2018, and their Facebook hasn't seen any activity since a single post in August 2020, and that was the first one since September 2017, so there seems little point trying to contact them for information. Nick Gill does also have his own personal Facebook page, but he's never posted anything on it other than a profile picture and a cover photo (though he does have 467 friends, so I guess he must use it). I'll message him about the '67 Moons' track list, but I'm not really expecting a reply from him. The first 'real' album the band released was thus 'Electric Old Wire Noise' in 2005. I can tell you that there were 33 tracks on '67 Moons' and just 67 copies were made - all in handmade sleeves, and all sold. See the Internet Archive capture of their old Myspace page here. The musicians info would need to say something like: - Nick Gill / all instruments, since he made the album himself in his bedroom. All I can think of for the track list would be to include something like: 1. Unknown 2. Unknown 3. Unknown 4. Unknown 5. Unknown 6. Unknown 7. Unknown 8. Unknown 9. Unknown 10. Unknown 11. Unknown 12. Unknown 13. Unknown 14. Unknown 15. Unknown 16. Unknown 17. Unknown 18. Unknown 19. Unknown 20. Unknown 21. Unknown 22. Unknown 23. Unknown 24. Unknown 25. Unknown 26. Unknown 27. Unknown 28. Unknown 29. Unknown 30. Unknown 31. Unknown 32. Unknown 33. Unknown Total Time Unknown ![]() Regarding the 'wedontknowhowyoufindtimeforallofuslordbutweregratefulthatyoudo' album: https://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=26401, that unwieldly title is screwing up the alignment of all the album cover images to the right of it on the main page. I'd be inclined to include a space in the middle to force the title where it appears underneath the cover image into two lines, so that it's shown there just as it is on the album cover itself: wedontknowhowyoufindtimeforallof uslordbutweregratefulthatyoudo The album title won't look quite right in the heading at the top of the page if you do this, but I think that would be better than the mess we've got at the moment. Otherwise maybe you could just write the title abbreviated as: "wedontknowhowyou...weregratefulthatyoudo", or "wedontknowhowyoufindtimeforallofuslord...", which should condense it sufficiently so that it doesn't wreck the album alignment on the page, whilst still keeping it as a single line without any spaces. Other amendments needed on that same album page are the number of copies made (50, not 60) and year of release (2001, not 2002). See the archived Myspace link again for confirmation of that. Once again the musicians info for that album would just be: - Nick Gill / all instruments. The last thing you might want to consider doing is to update the artist photo on their main page. It's a very small 176x226 image, and looks pretty awful when blown up to full size on the page. This one is from their Facebook: ![]() Full size image is 720x720, and can be found here. You could always crop some of the tree trunk off the image to bring the musicians more into focus. ![]() The top image actually looks the sharper of the two as they are displayed here in this post, but once the PA software has done its resizing work with them, the bottom one would probably look sharper on the actual page itself - especially if you crop it yourself from the original full sized image on Facebook. Added the first three. But only three videos are shown on PA main page at the same time. I can add the rest now or you may remind me to add them later, when these three disappear from PA main page. It's up to you to decide. Edited by NotAProghead - February 28 2025 at 21:18 |

^ Thanks, David, clear now.
I think we can edit even 52 albums, but no rush here, we're don't have time limits.

^ That website says the album was recorded in 1969, but Discogs says it was released in 1970. RYM also says the album was released in 1970 (15 January 1970), and recorded from April - September 1969. Wikipedia does give the year of release as 1969 though (November 29, 1969), though it agrees with RYM on the dates between which the recording took place.
It's one of those cases where some confusion exists isn't it, but there's a first mono pressing of the album for sale here which lists it as RCA Vik LZ-1160 (Argentina LP 1970), so I'm sticking with 1970 for now until more convincing evidence emerges that there was an earlier release of the album. There's no doubt about the dates between which the recording took place, since you can read that on the back of the inner sleeve. Edit: Today's streaming sites also can't agree on the release date lol! Spotify says 1969, Apple Music 1970. The issue is further complicated by Musicstack's catalogue of all the releases of the album they believe have occurred, which does include two in 1969 - as a mono LP and a stereo 8-track cartridge. ![]() The site which has finally convinced me that 1969 is indeed correct is Popsike - all the copies of the first pressing that appear for sale on the first page of the results of an 'Almendra' search on there say 1969. That's good enough for me! ![]() Date changed as advised. ![]() Edited by yam yam - February 28 2025 at 14:20 |

^ Thanks.
Have done the first two. Original info: ![]() Fixed using info from And: Original info: ![]() Fixed using using info from: I think they both look better now. ![]() Edit: Ignore the year of release given on the Disqu-O-Québec page for that second album (1977). The releases summary page here has it correctly shown as 1979, which is what everywhere else seems to agree on too. Both Discogs and Disqu-O-Québec have the album as a compilation (as do we), but they also say: "L'enregistrement des pièces "Live" a été fait au théâtre St-Denis à Montréal" (apparently in 1974). More info about the band here: https://www.thecanadianencyclopedia.ca/en/article/ville-emard-blues-band-emc. I guess it's a compilation of selected live recordings from that venue, so I haven't moved it from compilations to live. There is a similar (but not identical) set of recordings from the same theatre here, which I think definitely needs moving from studio albums to live. That particular album isn't in the list of 52, but it has no track times, which can be found at Discogs. Side A (24:29): 1. Soumis (2:35) 2. Octobre (Au Mois De Mai) (6:12) 3. Ville Émard Blues (3:42) 4. Comme Par Magie (6:00) 5. That Ain't No Way To Be (6:00) Side B (23:08): 6. Ste-Mélanie Blues (4:04) 7. Ode (À Une Belle Inconnue) (6:10) 8. Make Some Music (3:53) 9. Kondy Donky (9:01) Side C (19:36): 10. Pixieland (3:27) 11. Indian Giver God (4:49) 12. City Music (4:45) 13. Poirots Névroses (6:35) Side D (24:16): 14. Strangle/Solos De Batteries/Yama Nekh (15:39) 15. You And Your Mother (8:37) Total Time 91:29 The time of 15:39 is for the first three tracks of side D combined, so I've moved them all onto the same line in the above track list in an attempt to make this clear to anyone viewing the page. The musicians info section isn't formatted very well either, and I get the feeling it may not be all that accurate anyway. The complete instrumentation for each track on the album is clearly shown in this image on the Disqu-O-Québec page, but it would take some considerable time to sort through it all and rearrange it in PA style...or even compare it with what's shown on our page at the moment (for me at least!). I might have a look at it tonight if I feel daring enough. ![]() The releases info is missing completely: 2xLP Funkébec - FK2-700 (1974, Canada) A much better cover image can be found here.

From Julien's list of 52 albums (3rd one down): https://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=17611.
1. Introduction (1:15) 2. Salina (4:47) 3. (You've Got To) Stop The World (4:30) 4. Byzance (2:49) 5. Lament (5:00) 6. (You've Got To) Stop The World (0:55) 7. Ouverture (1:42) 8. Watertales (2:45) 9. Somebody Loves You (3:46) 10. Franky (2:45) 11. Circle (Part 1) (2:37) 12. Circle (Part 2) (6:20) Total Time 39:11 Better cover image here (could be made better still with some minor work with a clone stamp tool along the top edge & corners). Am I allowed to just go ahead and fix some of these (ie the easy ones) myself, or do you want the details posted here so that all of them are fixed by the official E&O Team?
