TV shows you most recently finished watching

We finished se03 of White Lotus last night. An unpopular opinion maybe but this was my favourite of the 3 seasons so far.

Reacher Season 3
Lee Childs character is so well realised it's hard to think of any actor other than Alan Ritchson who would have been better in it ( ''The Rock'' maybe??!). This keeps up the standard of the earlier seasons and other than great fight scenes (and extreme brutial violience) does also have a heart. One of its very best points is that it allows the supporting cast to shine and gives them layered roles.
In this season Reacher is well matched by a zealous FBI agent (played brilliantly by British actress Sonya Cassidy) who is operating 'off the book' trying to bring a gun runner to justice with an undercover sting operation. Reacher also wants his head on a stick for past 'indiscretions' Great TV.

Daredevil: Born Again
A lot of hype accompanying this reboot of a fans favourite. Disney decided to bring it back after the previous series aired some 10 years ago when Netflix lost the rights to do any Marvel based stuff. The original series is considered to be one of the best comic book adaptions for its great characters and multi layered story lines. For me it's the villian that makes this interesting and again we have 'Kingpin' Wilson Fisk (played by the always brilliant Vincent D'Onofrio) going up against Charlie Cox's tortured vigilante Daredevil. It was always going to be tricky rebooting this after a long gap but I believe they have done a fine job with the afore mentioned layered story lines but still featuring those signature multi martial arts fight scenes as well as some extreme;y nasty gory stuff (but we love this don't we?). It's also great to have a villian who is capable of snapping a mans neck with his bare hands. Fisk is an imposing figure but so well realised you almost sympathise with him at times. Top notch and for me the only Marvel show that is any good.

Gangs Of London Season 3
Seems to have got even better as each season goes by. It seems every episode in in 'real time' and full of interesting set piece fight scenes. Some of it stretches credibility to the limits (ie a women strangling a bloke with the unbillical chord after giving birth) but it's never anything other than pure entertainment.

Finished Black Mirror. I really loved this whole season, everything was top drawer for me. My scores fwiw:
