Have seen Styx a couple times in the past few years. They are an excellent show and can still bring the heat! I will say if I don't hear JY sing again, I will be ok with it
 .Tommy Shaw though still has a great voice...... |

Hi,
Got to see STYX twice, honestly, a nice thing, though I did think that they were going through the motions to look like a rock band on a stage, which lessened my appreciation. After a while you want the music not the silly cardboard/mannequin poses! Someone must be offering the band some good moolah to do this, I bet ... but I'm not sure this will work as well as we, or they, think ... I'm still holding out for "Welcome To My Nightmare" on the stage, directed by Dario Argento of course! |

I would like to see Styx play the entire albums - Equinox, Grand Illusion, and Pieces of Eight - with selections from Crystal Ball.
That would be an Evening with Styx and cover two sets and encores like Lady. |

OK, I just found out that yes, the entire Grand Illusion album will be played (Yeah!). Two songs from Pieces of Eight (Good). No songs from The Mission or Crash Of The Crown (too bad). Apparently, they just released a new album days ago and will be playing one song from that (haven't heard it). Thankfully "Babe" will not be played.

I saw the original The Grand Illusion tour with Styx and opening act Prism at the Ottawa Civic Centre in the fall of 1977; one of the best concerts I ever saw.... |

So Styx is touring and I'm getting mixed info on if this tour is going to be Styx playing the entire Grand Illusion album or not (along with other songs, hopefully not "Babe"). Does anyone know for sure if it is indeed the entire Grand Illusion album which will be performed? If it's not, I don't want to bother spending money and time on this.
