Indeed, though he at least adds some specifics about the music to his prompts and cares to format the text

Thank you.❤❤❤ This AI garbage's been driving me nuts. There's another suspicious user known as Progressive Heart and I'm 99.5% sure they also use an LLM text generator to "write" their "reviews".

^ It did have a rating from you, maybe you accidentally rated it without reviewing. I have deleted your rating. Please try again. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Watching while most appreciating a sunset in the moment need not diminish all the glorious sunsets I have observed before. It can be much like that with music for me.

Oh, I had not realised. I saw it and thought it looked so similar that my delete just had not taken as sometimes happens (sometimes functions time out). Apologies. I hope you saved it.

I edited the review and it was removed again. What was the reason?

Yeah, I'll remove that and preserve it here for posteriorauraity. I hate completely expunging such things.

The reviews here are so apologetic. Everyone trying to excuse the band for sounding so much like a preliminary demo tape for In Absentia and Deadwing.

Some of the comments are hilarious: "Quite frankly this is where Porcupine Tree should have been on their last and less than impressive album Fear of a Blank Planet". Another one: "Expect some great guitar solos in a few places which are far more virtuostic than PT ones". Who wrote that? The band mom? "Vocals that are very similar to Steven Wilson". Yeah, as similar as Gary Cherone is to David Lee Roth.

There is inspiration and there is imitation. It is clear where this band stands.

2 stars

By the way, Gary Cherone was lead singer of Van Halen. He followed Sammy Hagar who had followed David Lee Roth as lead singer. I had to look it up.

New member - criticises other reviewers comments. Doesn't actually say anything really about the music?!

Plus who is Gary Cherone?!?

^ After looking at the last 50 reviews. I see there are three by him all in a row, so off some other platform I would guess rather than written for PA, except that minimal effort went into the reviews so maybe all written for here after all.   I could just delete but this once I will translate all three. Any more will be deleted that are not presented in English. I PMed the user who I saw in the forum.

Review is in Spanish. Google Translate still leaves it with some sentences that don't make sense.

I google translated and did some editing. Other than adding a "t" too "Foxtro" and a note at the end on it being translated and only submitting reviews in English, the only thing I changed was what came out for lyrics. I changed "there's a fat woman outside the room" to "There's a fat old lady outside the saloon."

^ It may be something wrong with me, and maybe it's because you actually attended the tour while I am not familiar with the release, but it seem both readable and passable to me as an album review for this site.

^ While I have taken the time to translate that reviewers reviews before (had to do it piecemeal because the reviews are so long), with a note and to PM the reviewer, its has not been noted, so I just deleted the latest. If it continues I will be forced to suspend the account and likely will delete all reviews.

The latest review:

Pascaline.ha https://www.progarchives.com/Collaborators.asp?id=77424 has submitted several reviews in French. I translated the first hoping it would be noticed and emulated, but then more reviews quickly went up in French. After I saw the other reviews had gone up, I did PM to alert him of the rules asking him to edit those with translations. If he does not act on it later then I will deal with the reviews. Just a heads-up that the in-French issue does not need reporting.

^ I'm not familiar with rules against that despite people frowning on such things. It's terrible to read.

This appears to be a review from the record label?! Is this allowed?!

You sure are good at your job Greg! I don't think I would have even noticed if his two reviews weren't back to back under non-collaborator review section, even though 3 years apart.
