A good deal more to me than experimental. Haunting, mysterious, melancholy, and at times beautiful. Ummagumma and AHM are finally revealing themselves to me, the last albums in the canon to do so. Unlike most of you guys, I find Animals to be kind of a grating bore now. Loved it as an angry teenager, but it's nothing I wish to hear anymore. I realize all of what I just typed puts me way on the fringe of Floyd fandom standard issue, but we're all different, eh? |

I've never been the biggest fab of Animals, I find it to be bleak and a bit soulless (especially after the overall warmth of WYWH). Sheep is the only track from there that I truly enjoy.
