Other than a couple of shows in the late sixties, my concert going days were from 1971 to 1975. A lot of bands came through L.A. in those days and I saw my share of them. But I was also getting into European bands that would probably never tour the U.S.  Fortunately, a lot of bands were putting out live albums at the time.
So, based on live LPs that I have, I would like to have seen:

Satin Whale  (Whalecome)
Kraan  (Live)
Jane  (At Home)
Nektar  (Live In N.Y.)
Karthago  (Live At The Roxy)
Kin Ping Meh  (Concrete)
Birth Control  (Live)

I'd love to have seen Yes on their Tales from Topographic Oceans tour and Kansas some time before Leftoverture came out.

Ash Ra Tempel (singer John L. used to appear nude on stage with a painted penis and let himself be whipped).
Anima (Limpe Fuchs appeared nude on stage with a painted body, hopping around her numerous percussion instruments),
Hawkwind (do I have to mention Stacia)?
Amon Düül, before they split up into 1 and 2.
Gong
Can
Kraan
Guru Guru (my brother saw them in 1976; I was only seven then).
Grobschnitt (they used to have a four hour show, my brother saw them too).
and many many more. Those bands had incredible live shows. My brother told me that during the Guru Guru concert Mani Neumeier suddenly announced that they would now play the silent trumpet. A trumpet was brought on stage, into the cone of which was placed a gigantic joint. Each musician took a poke, then the trumpet was handed over to the audience. To quote Zappa: "You can't do that on stage anymore".

BaldJean and I; I am the one in blue.

As you can see by my list, I managed to accumulate some very good live LPs by German Bands. Wishing that I had seen concerts like the ones you mentioned is why I started the topic.

I am fortunate in having seen most of the bands that I like and a huge number of bands in the 70s.

I sorely miss not seeing Gabriel-era Genesis, even though they visited the town were I grew up when Foxtrot was released I was unable to attend. I did see Gabriel on all of his 70s tours and through most of the 80s, and saw a TotT Genesis show.

Amon Duul II ... I don't know why I've never seen them live - I have been a fan since 72 and bought Live In London when it came out.

Yes - not a huge fan by any means, so at the time I wasn't that desperate to see them, but looking back I would have like to have seen the Yessongs tour.

Rick Wakeman - Oh how I'd loved to have been present during the King Arthur on Ice debacle.

Roxy Music (with Eno).

Sparks. No reason, just would have liked to have seen them.

What?

Floyd's The Wall concert.  I was 18 the time and a guy where I worked had a bunch of tickets with the cheapest ones being $50 for the top rows of the Nassau Coliseum.  At the time it was a lot of money for a ticket and I was saving for a car.  If I knew that these concerts would have been it for the classic lineup...

I was at one of the London shows - it was the concert to end all concerts in my book - a superb show.

I've seen a lot of the big 70s bands live but not in the 70s. I would love to have seen UK and what I'll call the classic King Crimson line up of 'Larks / starless' era. Kansas also would've been a great show I'm sure.
'I Know What I Like' and it's good music, well written and delivered with passion!!

Unfortunately in Mexico rock concerts were not allowed by the government for many years and one of the first one's allowed was a Queen concert during early 80's, i was around 13 years at the time and due to they played in another city i was not allowed to go (some of my older friends went there and tell me it was great!), so that would be the concert i missed and will never be back.

Going back to prog i would like to have seen in the 70's

VDGG, Genesis, Jethro Tull (although i've seen them twice in the 90's), Gentle Giant (during Playing the fool tour), Renaissance, King Crimson (although i've seen them twice but not on the 70's), Caravan (Richard Sinclair's years), Camel with Peter Bardens (i saw them some years ago but only Latimer was left from the oriiginal members) and of course Grobshnitt playing the whole Solar Music suite. Some friends went to a concert of Los Jaivas in middle 80's but i was not even aware when it ocurred.

As i'm a folk fan too i would like to have seen Malicorne, early Alan Stivell, and Flairck in the 70's (i saw Erik Visser presenting his solo album a couple oy years ago).

Since prog concerts started i Mexico (better late than never!) i've been in most of them, but some i didn't went were Magma and Gong.

I'd like to have seen Barret-era Floyd just to see what he was like and after listening to Queens, Live Killers I wish I had seen them live.

I was very fortunate to have seen Gabriel with Genesis at Milton Keynes for the WOMAD show, and the next greatest was seeing The Floyd Wall concert at Earls Court.

My one regret is that I have never seen King Crimson live, in any lineup. Hopefully, they will play near enough soon to make this a regret of the past.

I've seen my share of 70s acts, but would have liked to have seen several of them on earlier tours:

Yes - Relayer
Tull - A Passion Play
King Crimson - any

Acts I haven't seen at all, but would have like to:

Genesis - Lamb
Nektar
Steeleye Span - when they opened for Tull
Jimi Hendrix - he died when I was 10, but I can wish, can't I?

Most significant near miss:  When I was 9, the Altamont Music Festival took place a mere 15 miles from my home.  I didn't know much about the music, but I really wanted to go.  After hearing about what happened there, it's a good thing I didn't.

Introduction to the concert world: The Tubes, 1977.  No, not Prog, but they put on a hell of a show, still do.
The world of sound is certainly capable of infinite variety and, were our sense developed, of infinite extensions. -- George Santayana, "The Sense of Beauty"

I think the The Tubes were quite proggy actually! Managed to see Genesis, Yes, Tull, England, Fruupp, Cressida, Spring, Nektar, T2, Hawkwind, Gnidrolog and Floyd in the 70's, but would have loved to see the Court of the Crimson King line up. Saw the 20th Century Schizoid Band, which was as close as poss I suppose!

have seen Yes in 2000, Jethro in 2004, Roger Waters,  Peter Gabriel, Jon and Ian Anderson (not together of course), Purple, Sabbath and Plant; I really wish I had seen the Floyd Animals (In the Flesh) and Wall tours, Jethro - A Passion Play, Genesis Lamb or Selling England tours and Queen around 74-76...

I would give anything to see Syd Barrett era Pink Floyd.  Preferably in a club rather than a big concert.

I also would kill to see Gentle Giant, Soft Machine, Grateful Dead...etc
