What lifts/exercises are you currently doing?
Also, I pulled my hamstring running last night and I've got a cross country comp on friday. Feels like I may not be able to compete or will get a sh*t time.

Sucks about your hammy bro, I always have problems come Cricket season with a recurring groin strain. I just have to man through it usually, my coach tells me to take it easy, but secretly I know he's proud if I man up and play. I'm not really doing any major weights now, that's later once I've got my tone back up a bit more. I'm mostly doing core (so crunches, back, chest, butterfly etc), 10 mins of rowing, press ups and some light weights. I run 30 mins every other day. Basically I'll keep this up for a month or so, then increase everything + heavier upper body stuff.

I'm definitely gonna stay off it till friday but I'm pretty sure I'll still compete. Just annoying as f**k to have popping up in the same week.
I'm doing starting strength (Bench 3x5, squat 3x5, deadlift 1x5 and OHP 3x5, squat 3x5, power-clean 3x5 alternating 3 times a week) which is the best program to build a good strength base + is amazing for leg building. Feels intense.
Also, Convict Conditioning is the best bodyweight program I've ever seen.

It is pretty awesome though. The first like half of the book is basically the author praising prison though which was lulzworthy.
