I think the Steelers will be fine despite them not doing anything to fix their OLine. With that said, I hope I'm wrong. I'd love for them to go 0-16.

Well the Falcons are way overrated, but yeah I'm not sure how the hell Chicago seems to keep beating good teams.

Cowboys lose! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Yet another game blown, it's amazing. That pick was terrible, Revis was standing still and Romo threw it straight to him. And wtf happened with that one snap? The one that went to his shoulder, and he wasn't even looking at it. Was he not ready for it?
By this point in your career, if you can't handle pressure might as well just hang it up.
edit: OH! And that punt....how does a huge hole open up like that on a punt? Dude could've walked through it. Cowboys are a joke.

Going to go ahead and say it's going to be just as long a year for my Steelers as JJ's Giants. It sucks when you know what your teams problems are and you can't help in any way, don't it? |
I really did see 10 wins as realistic, but yeah that was optimistic and things have certainly taken a pretty bad turn. Hell, this may be the first time in years I've just flat out not watched the Giants. I may end up a Jets fan for this season. Shame is, this is the make or break year. I like Coughlin and especially Jerry Reese but guessing they'll be gone after this season, and Bill Cowher will be the next coach. Did pretty good with my picks: Ravens, Houston (durr), Detroit, San Fran, Arizona, Skins and Jets. Really was surprised by Chicago, Buffalo and Cleveland. I like Colt McCoy and thought for sure the Bungles would struggle. The cards are weak on defense and especially the secondary but still, Cam is the first guy to throw for 400 yards in his first game and it really wasn't too bad.

Lol Cowboys. How do you let a snap hit you lamely after a timeout with the game on the line? Lol Romo.

holy hell you really do have low standards, I wonder if you really "like" the Lions or not
|
Last time that the Lions went 4 and 0 in the preseason they went 0 and 16 in the regular season. By winning their 1st game they have already improved upon that.
I've suffered through numerous years of horrible football with the Lions. Watching them play is not good for my health. Lions' fanboys are similar to Dream Theater fanboys. Before every new season (album) they are overly optimistic that it will be their greatest season (album) ever. And yet every season (album) ends up being a letdown. I intend on being cautiously optimistic with the Lions (Dream Theater) again this year, but will happily jump back on to the bandwagon if the opportunity calls for it. I've never stopped being a fan, I've just stopped being a rabid fan.

^ I was one of those " Aints" fans during those horrible years in New Orleans, going to the Superdome to watch horrid football was a very depressing way to spend a Sunday afternoon. But hey...at least we had Bourbon Street and the French Quarter afterwards!!

But there was always the danger of getting a nasty paper cut when you slipped the paper bag over your head while at those 'Aints' games.

And that pick! I could've caught that thing. Really, the difference in the game was that blocked punt returned for a TD, how the hell do you let such a gap open on a punt??? lolcowboys And my depressive state is finally over, now just rage This feels like 2010 never ended. Exact same problems for the Giants. Potential on offense but mainly anemic. 1 for 10 on third downs, can't move the ball on 3rd and 1, turnovers. Special teams: poor returns and coverage. Penalties and mistakes. It's all the same story. Only positive is even with the new/beat up defense they shut down the run and JPP is the real deal it seems. May not be complete yet but he gets a nasty pass rush whenever he's in.

I mean hey, it was all a wreck. The avoidable fumble, the pick, the what the hell was that snap, completely blown up punt. Was all pretty crazy how methodically they fell apart.
Hoping the Phins can somehow beat the Pats tonight. Not much hope like the when the Jets play em but still some...they have a great front 7, not sure about their secondary but hopefully they can make up for the loss of Brown and Williams (Reggie Bush is only good as a backup) and of course Henne's arm. A 4 year player in the pro offense of Michigan, kinda surprised with him but maybe "taking it easy" on these young QB isn't always good. Sounds like they are taking the training wheels off, maybe he'll see more success,

Dolphins have two of the best corners in the game. They have a shot to win if they can get some ST play.

I know Vontae Davis and looks like the still have Bell at safety so that's good.
Thus far, their D hasn't gotten much pressure and coverage kinda weak but still first half. Sure enough, Henne has been looking good thus far. Standing strong, accurate, moving around or out of the pocket. I'm really glad they're gunna stop babying him. Being allowed to feel some pressure and make all the throws should keep him developing.

That he is but let's put Brady on the ground.
I wonder how long they dare run Bush like this. He's gunna break in not too long at this rate!

So 5 mins ago I had handily defeated my opponent in fantasy this week by making some great scrapheap pick ups and clever matchup starts UNTIL f**kING WES WELKER CATCHES A 99 YRD TD PASS WITH 5 MINS LEFT IN THE GAME AS THE LAST POINTS TO BE RECORDED BECAUSE THE DOLPHINS ARE A f**kING TERRIBLE TEAM BURN IN HELL.
