I'm starting to think my roommate went home this weekend - he's been gone since I woke up this morning.

What? Claudia Quintet are not avant-prog.

Merzbow was pretty great, and it was a much more reasonable volume than Fennesz. I think the organizers realized that it was ridiculous and told the sound guy to lay off it a little bit. I am going to write more about in the Sonic Circuits thread tomorrow or the next day when I am less tired so stay tuned. The girl standing behind me at the merch station after the show freaked out when she saw the CDs and realized that Richard Pinhas was in Heldon. I knew that before the show and I don't even have a Heldon CD!

God damn it, I lost 17 credits on eMusic again, I think I'm going to cancel it this is getting annoying.

Claudia Quintet incorporate elements of chamber music into their stuff, and rock.  We marketed them to JR/F first, they said "nay!" but didn't say "nay!" for PA, just for themselves.

I think that they fit the Avant-Prog genre pretty well.

As do I.  I want to hear their earlier albums sometime (hopefully soon).
