Not really.  I remember getting stuck a couple times because I had no idea where to go.

I remember really liking the game because it had a surprisingly strong, character-driven story.
That could be, I don't really remember the story apart from the X things.

I also remember being stuck at that spider boss. That thing took me a while to defeat. 
The game had cool bosses though, Nightmare was fantastic.

I had that problem in the demo of Tomb Raider but I put that down to it being a demo.

I kept going round in circles.

I constantly get lost in Descent 3, I get turned around all the time. When I first started playing I even got motion sickness. LOL
