If you see the original (eye & dog cover) somewhere, do not hesitate one second.

Original 9.5/10       Remix 7/10

If you haven't yet heard Hergest Ridge, go for the original, but if you,ve heard this masterpiece hundreds of times this remix is a refreshing listen and a nice addition. Just a little too much spice, perhaps.

Sagi, now here's a modern RPI album I think you'd really like - MOSAICO's `Vola'. I've got the CD (and I think I've convinced Sam to buy it as well! ), but you can listen to the album streaming at this Bandcamp link - please take a few minutes when you have the time to give it a spin, I think you'll be impressed:

First two tracks sounds good enough for me to keep listening to it. I'm off to bed now so I will listen to it later, thanks buddy!

Yep, it's definitely a good album. It took me a while to appreciate it but now I really like it. You know although Beardfish is a very consistent band, their albums are pretty much the same, no surprises there and that's a little shame imo, I wish they would try to investigate different territories (Like they slightly did with The Void). Of course they have better albums in their catalogue but they all consist of high quality and complex songwriting and playing.
I'd say Mammoth is my least favourite album (although I admit I didn't spend so much time with it, but for now it's my least favourite) Sleeping In Traffic 2 is my favourite one.

So if you feel like getting another Beardfish Destined Solitaire is a good choice but also just as good as Sleeping In Traffic Part 1. Just don't expect something different, Beardfish is Beardfish Smile

Funny you say that about `Vemod', I've listened to it three times in the last day and a half!

Now that's a Beardfish album I don't have...I have `Sleeping in Traffic part 2', `Mammoth', `The Void' and `Comfortzone'. I'm sure it's amazing?

Mike I know what you mean about Ankdoten's flat vocals, they are pretty much the same with Nucleus. I actually don't mind them, for some reason they fit their dark music well Smile
Anyway Vemod was a great listen, I feel like listening to it again!

I'm pretty new to this Beardfish although I have it for quite some time now, great album anyway...
