The art work was what made me buy the album to begin withLOL I knew nothing about the band.

this artwork is brilliant, remind me and infact could be the sequel to Labyrinth,  the Goblin King. Instrumentals coming so crazy good to life here!!! xxx

^There's definitely some sort of hippy vibe emanating from that album. At times it reminds me of Jethro Tull's debut 'This Was'.

I'm listening to another classic (wow both Relayer and this in one day?!?!?):

^Yes!!!!! You are awesome just for playing that Nasir. One of my favourite jazz albums ever together with Sun Ra's Lanquidity. Have you ever heard the latter btw?

Oh yes! I love Sun Ra and Lanquidity is one of his best. Cosmic jazz fusion is always a good thing in my book. But I have to say that my favorite Sun Ra album is Space is the Place. That one is a monster.

Best possible argument against the popular belief that punk bands can't play their instruments or won't write interesting song structures. Also a perfect example of extremely violent and aggressive music that isn't stereotypically masculine at all.

I'm not that familiar with The Pentangle's music tbh. The song I most often associate them with is the epic length Jack Orion, which I absolutely adore.

Cool. If you dig that cosmic jazz thang, especially the big band sound that Sun Ra mixed it up with, then I heartly suggest you check out both Finnish band Astro Can Caravan as well as Date Course Pentagon Royal Garden (Yes that's their nameLOL). Both are artists featured here on PA.

I was just about to mention my "other" fave Sun Ra release, but then you went ahead and posted AtlantisApprove What a delightful mindf**k that title track is!

oh so I think I might've gotten confused with SaltyJon.

They're fantastic really. Fantastic arrangements and some of the best 60s guitar playing.
