Do you acccetpt my challenge!!!!?! DUDE! I need a drummer. I'm "starting a group" with some losers at my school, but they suck. I could run circles around them... and they want to play death metal . I don't mind playing metal, but these people are stupid. I need some intelligent musicians... people who can settle into a nice groove and just jam... anything, I don't care, from Yes to Metallica to Green Day to whatever, I don't care, as long as the music is good. Yeah, I'd roll over myself to play prog, but I'll take what I can get. I play bass btw

My problems...somewhat. I'm trying to systematically convert and train the nerds at my school to play in a band. With punks, you get nowhere. I could run circles around most bassists at my school. Really, learning the bass isn't that hard. Playing it isn't hard. The thing that gives me an advantage is that I play Chris Squire stuff. Very complex, but it isn't hard. But it's also impressive at the same time, so you're better than the simplistic "rhythm" bassists because you're thinking outside that box and playing out of it as well.

Oh, and to the drummers...I live in Oklahoma.

well then, I guess we fall into the same boat.... altough it is fun to kick out a nice solo once in ahwile.
