Being nerdy and pimpy at the same time rocks. Tongue

I roll a check to see if that's ok for you to do something I normally do.

Got a 14. Yeah, you can go play Advanced D&D.Tongue

What would Advanced D&D entail?

You don't know advanced D&D?

No.

Dungeons and Dragons. The role playing game. Wink

Oh, I know D&D. I've played it; I have the dice and the book around here in my room in some location. I just was wondering the difference between D&D and Advanced D&D.

It just depends on the edition you're playing.

During first and second edition, there was D&D and Advanced D&D. The latter had more rules and was simply for more advanced players as the name says.

From third edition onward, they made it so that it was a single game.

I'm playing 3.5 edition but I said Advanced D&D cause James always to it as that name. LOL

RIP in bossa nova heaven.

This topic rocked. Wink

Unfortunately, aren't a few of those scrapped for the 4th edition? That's the book I have.

Yeah quite a lot of those.

I actually hate 4th edition.

They made it so it appeals to power gamers who mostly like to be epic and destroy hordes of enemies. They ruined the alignement system, the roleplaying relations between different races, a couple of classes, the religion system and the overall feel of the dnd world.

The first three versions were way better in those terms. I like to roleplay more than I like killing orcs for hours. If I want to slaughter things, I'll play a random videogame at home alone. LOL

RIP in bossa nova heaven.

Yeah, that's understandable. The one time I did play we used a combination of rules from the 4th edition but some from the 3rd where the DM thought the 4th was really stupid.

Video messaging. It's like a video phone. Just point the webcam at the dice when they roll
