E-Re disappointed me a little; it's not bad by any means (probably a 4.5 star album) but I fail to hear it as a masterpiece.

James you're a f**kin genius.  I agree 100%

Also, my headphones broke so they only work when you hold the wires at the right angle, but I fixed them with superglu

Emehntehtt-Re is.

Theusz Hamtaahk isn't an official album... rather it's live recordings but that's also better than K.A. and maybe M.D.K. as well.

I have a new realization. That is, it is not necessarily that any other conversations not about Magma are all very much more worth having than Magma-related conversations, but the intense focus on Magma and the insane dead horse beating of the topic has caused the enjoyability of other conversational topics to skyrocket.

My library doesn't even have the books I want, and has a tiny selection of crappy movies, and no music at all. Living in a town with a population that is under 600 has disadvantages.

It grows on you.  It did for me.  I felt the same way initially.  In fact, it's getting better with every listen, even now.

And I swear there's some weird subliminal noises on Funehrarium Kanht.  You have to listen very carefully though.

Now it's the Magma album I always seem to play.  I look at my Magma discs and it's always the one I want to play.

I would talk about Marillion, Stonie but I haven't heard much.

That's why I tried to bring up another band (Pain of Salvation). But all the Magma conversation drowned it out.

I'll leave (I mean temporarily) if there's a long chat about PoS.

For me, I usually crave either Wurdah Itah (first semi-Magma album I had), or Attahk lately. I haven't given E-Re as many listens as I should, though.

Live/Hhai is also great.

Now it's KA tiem.

I'll join in on the PoS conversation if there is one.

No you're thinking too narrowly. Think of everything else in the entire universe that is not Magma (let's be proactive and to in RIO/avant....hell all music period). Limitless topics of discussion.

Oh I know, Stonie but I'm a very boring person who has nothing to contribute to the world besides RIO/Avant-Prog and Zeuhl.

I met the a girl the other day... she didn't like Magma.

See what I mean?

Well, the general discussion section is for arguing about religion and politics.

Honestly, I was just trying commenting on what Stonie said. I personally don't mind the Magma talk, but that's because I'm not unbiased like Stonie and Henry are. Embarrassed

Also, in response to what James said earlier, K.A. > Theusz Hamtaahk > E-Re IMO.

Conversations about RIO/Avant are as exciting as NASCAR.
