Hey Ryan, just bought that Seven Impale record.  That clip that Toby shared on FB was pretty damn good.

Ture, I already gave it a test thanks to other PA members, but Toby reminded me that I need to give it a real listen before the year is up.

I'm really surprised that the flenser waited so long, did they forget to send it or were they just being slow?

I sent an email to Flenser and soon afterwards I got a shipment notice.  It had a tracking number and it showed up on my door about a week after I saw that the package was in Atlanta and "out for delivery".  I was concerned the post office had screwed up.  But all is well now.

And maybe ELO as well? They certainly have some pop-oriented rock music with classical influences. Moody Blues? Procol Harum? I think I'm starting to understand.

Muse?

I think they just forgot.  And mine wasn't a pre-order, I didn't order it until it had already been out for a couple of weeks, so it's not as late as you might  think.

not really elo, it's supposed to sound somewhat like chamber music and the elo just take on a whole other side of classical music

I have four reviews I'm supposed to do for bands that have asked.  I'm just swamped this time of year.  Hopefully I'll be able to get around to them next week when we're on break.

That's not what necessarily what happened to me but I did think that it was an incredibly captivating story excellently told with several rich layers of social commentary, but they're not forced or pushed in your face like a lot of movies do with social commentary.
