If we are to talk of weak Marillion, then it's Holidays Of Eden....Brave's a great album.
other than that,I don't really know any other neo-prog movement...

Sorry VV, i take it back.
You are right of course. All threads of this nature are distressing to some. |
It's not like its a big deal, most proggies seem to despise the neo-genre. I like neo, maybe I should just avoid neo bashing threads.

The Window Of Life (Pendragon). I dislike it mainly because of several rip-off moments of Supertramp, The Moody Blues and Yes. The most evident example: there's a part with exactly the same melody as certain verses of Hide In Your Shell (Supertramp), and even with similar lyrics. The album is full of these "borrowed" themes, and the band never has said that it was intentioned.

I don't think Brave is entirely neo-prog. nothing like other neo-prog albums, still prog but not really neo. Brave is one of my favorite Marillion albums, for Hogarth era its the best along with Marbles. Really an excellent album.

Do you consider KC 80's neo-prog ? Then, Discipline.
If not, Marillion's Brave. I'm sure there are worst ones, but I don't own many neo-prog records.

I have searched for really bad neo prog albums and i realized that they are all interesting.
so, the "worst one" i find would be, after a hard choice:
PALLAS -THE WEDGE , still at 4 stars!
