in grade 7 I was so underweight that my growth spurt almost killed me

The more technologically inclined may find this story funny, I am personally embarassed that I know about software but so little about hardware:

So I got a the college's official notebook because it looked good and it came with an excellent warranty but I've been stuck with a stupid integrated videocard which hampers my videogame playing and incredible issues. The year I was there I had 2 hard drives replaced through the school's service center after I brought it in for instability. And the whole time I was like CHEAP CHINESE SH*T! Angry But since I'm not there anymore, I finally called Lenovo since the instability was getting intolerable and I am still under warranty until 2010, and when I mentioned to the tech that it got really really hot, he told me to check if the fan was running.  And I said No, no it's not, D'oh!

I don't think my fan ever worked, and the school service center didn't think to check it, they just got an instability reading on the hard drive because it was so damn hot, and assumed the hard drive had failed and just gave me a new one. Although if it was the processor melting, I don't know why it worked better after I got a new hard drive, but I don't have the ability to back up my data at the moment, and even if I did have my external hard drive I'm afraid to leave it on for more than half an hour, so I'm just going to have to send it in to them without the hard drive.

Even with it getting uncomfortably hot, it honestly never occured to me to think that the internal fan was broken. I was getting ready to buy an external fan too!

they held me back a year.. in kindergarten for being too small...  the teachers feared for me... getting  my cute little micky ass kicked all over the playground. OuchLOL

I have a good Saturday lined up... a couple of mates and I are going to a forest and shall light a fire and sit around and drink and chat about randomness all night.  Oh and we'll also have a CD player.

So I may infiltrate them with some of my music!

believe it or not... I remember it very clearly... the teacher asked me if I would like to stay another year in Kindergarten... of course... Micky being Micky (even back then).. I thought to myself... Tonka trucks.. sandboxs...or the feared Ms. Moscow (not making that up) in 1st grade. 

of course I 'chose' to stay another year...   to find that they gave me first grade ciriculum instead of playing with the damn Tonkas Angry Years later my Mom told me why I got held back.. but the upside was I had a year on all my classmates.  Made me look a lot smarter than I sure as hell was LOL

I'm out...have a good one guys...

Well in that case it'll be less effective, but I pretty much cold-turkeyed on sodas when I got to college and in doing so lost about ten pounds, so that's something you might want to try.
