Every once in a while, I read coments about Mr. Fripp being a nasty man, bad tempered, etc. ¿Is that like a joke or it is true? He looks like a nice guy (in photographs, photos are a mediocre way to portrait people). I'm I missing something. I'm not up for that kind of media comentary on people that should be meassured only for their artistic development; but one of the many posts contained someting about mr. Fripp being agressive with a fan. ¿Something to say about this? ¿stories? ¿Friends, Romans?...

He has the reputation of being eccentric, or maybe a little difficult. But I've never met him. Your best bet is to read some of the Elephant Talk Newsletters:

This is a KC & RF fan site - but not uncritical.

Well, Pinochet is always smiling on his early photos. You would say "Oh, such a nice man". But he is a monster. Plus, the Photographic pose is equal to your Ego; the theatricall version of yourself. You "edit" your corporal language posing for the camera, most of artists photographs are studio pictures used for difusion, so the pose is implict.

You'll never know anything about people's mind using a picture. Sometimes, people say to me "Wanna meet my brother/father/family/wife", and the pull out a picture. That's not meeting them, that's image recognition.

I never thought of it that way cuncuna, and now that you mention it, it makes alot of sense. Alot of my friends have very big egos and it shows clearly in their photos

EDIT:  BTW I was being sarcastic in the last post. I missed the "Wink" emoticon
