I've been a prog fanatic ever since I found out King Crimson's In the Court..., Yes' Fragile, and Jethro Tull's Aqualung, three of my favorite albums at the time, could all be categorized as "prog rock". Since then my appetite for prog hasn't been satisfied yet. Anyway I've liked this site for a while and joined as soon as I figured out it has such a great forum.
I love most of the more popular bands, but equally love a lot of the obscure stuff that I find. Caravan is easily my favorite band right now. I couldn't name my favorite album though without diverging into a list of about 30 albums I can't go without mentioning.

Right now, I've been getting into Gentle Giant after a long (and unfortunate) period of hating them. I've only heard Octopus and Free Hand so far, but they're both great. I've also been getting as much Prog Folk as I can get my hands on: Comus' First Utterance and Jan Dukes de Grey's Mice and Rats in the Loft are both phenomenal albums!

I look foward to posting here.
