I only have the Nik Turner and AMON DUUL albums so i won't vote. That Turner record is unique considering it was recorded in a pyramid in Egypt. I want to get some Aera but they're hard to find over here.

The Aera album is quite good, however it would not be fair to vote since I don't know the others

It may not be fair for me to vote, since the only one of these I have heard is Nik Turner's Xitintoday, thanks to BaldJean's recommendation, and I must say it is excellent. Thanks for the links, BaldJean!

Christian Boule's other album has one of my favorite guitar instrumentals anywhere: Psychedelik". If you haven't heard this, you need to. It has every element of Boule's most classic guitar sound encapsulated in a 4-minute tune, plus a great keyboard solo too. Check it out if you can.

I've heard of all of these (at least most of them, actually - mostly through searching Krautrock bands and recommendations by you or Friede) but I haven't checked any of them out yet.

You are right. I haven't heard of one of them.

we have both albums of Christian Boulé, and I agree about "Psychedellik" being a great track. his second album is on the whole more on the funky side. one track ("Viva da New Sound") has lyrics in several different languages, though they all mean the same (at least in those languages I understand a bit of)

I vote for Brainstorm. This first album is their best work. Full of energy, inventions and HUMOUR. Highly recommended.
