Yet most reviews are of older bands here. Besides, theres an ever increasing number of PM bands that sound nothing like Dream Theater, take a look, you might find something you like.

Okay, how about this for a theory:

People on PA use PA as a tool when buying albums.
The top lists are the easiest way to use PA when making album choices.
The threshold of 25 reviews makes it harder to enter the list.
Fewer albums on the list makes people buy fewer albums,
and thus fewer albums are reviewed by PA members.

In sum: You are all being assimilated. Resistance is futile.
