Under an hour. Ok.
1) ECHOES (full version from the album Meddle.)
2) ONE OF THESE DAYS
3) RUN LIKE HELL
4) WELCOME TO THE MACHINE
Put those songs on your I pod, then put the audio crossfade on and this line up of songs is like an en suite.

Such a good song.
I think this thread might make me start listening to way too much Pink Floyd again. Haven't done that for a while.

Disc 1 of Ummagumma, the 3 middle tracks of Atom Heart Mother, and San Tropez. Maybe cheat and go a tiny bit over to add See Emily Play or The Gnome or something else Syd. An hour is way too short.

Yeah basically.

This! - But I would have "Comfortably Numb" as a 'bonus track'...

Pretty fun to do with the pre Dark Side stuff, some great ones there....
From Dark Side on the premise is more challenging and not the way I'd ever listen to them....but to play along here goes:
Time Great Gig in the Sky Welcome to the Machine Pigs The Thin Ice Goodbye Blue Sky Hey You Southampton Dock The Final Cut
Yeah, that's not too bad I guess. For me, the whole beautiful legacy of PF stops perfectly with The Final Cut, the song, and the album.

The absence of anything from DSOTM in my list is just because it is hard to strip a single part out of that album (except Money which i don't like that much).

Not sure if it is under 1 hour, but very near, at least. |
Yep! My three reasons for being a Floyd fan. If there's a need for a few minutes more I'll throw in High Hopes.

1. See Emily Play 2. Julia Dream 3. Interstellar Overdrive 4. Careful With That Axe, Eugene (ummagumma version) 5. Fearless 6. Jugband Blues 7. Atom Heart Mother
I didn't really want to put anything from the really classic albums because i can't stand listening to just one song and not the whole album on those. although I still prefer to listen to a full album over one song at a time anyways in general
