He's only gone and written an opera! |

Wow i never knew it was based around the French Revolution. Either way
it'll probably get mixed reviews in my opinion, Although obviously i
would love to see it.

I takes too much time to search through existing threads to find out if someone has posted anything remotely similar to a topic you are about to post.

Oh dear oh dear... it will be (marginally) interesting to see just how Waters can pour all his own neuroses into a musical history of the French Revolution. And an opera! Jeez! I would have thought that a reasonably intelligent bloke like Waters would have laughed his head off when presented with the idea, I mean, as a pitch it's about as lame as you can get. "Say Rog, I've had this great idea - comfortably numb for full choir and orchestra as a statement of feelings of Jean Paul Marat as he lies stabbed in his bath, lifeforce ebbing away - it'll be great!" What next? An album of his acoustic guitar pieces played with the London Philharmonic Orchestra? I only have a few words more to say: "Saucy Jack, he's a naughty one, Saucy Jack he's a haughty one" |
