For the past couple of years this song has made it's rounds on a number of message boards and nobody has been able to find the source.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

The tape fades a bit but here are some of the Internets best guesses in regards to the lyrics.

For what it's worth, here is my interpretation of the lyrics. Good song.

Well I'm not too proud I'm out to prove my pants don't fit too tight

On to playsome(?) with the peacocks(?) sat in tower(?) day and night

Well I know I know I see it what I've got with me

May I have another day to carry on

[Chorus]

I can't lose if I don't care

Don't blame me

Last to laugh(?) and last to dare(?)

Stay with me if you don't care

Well I walk along the narrow streets so happy as I am

Think about the proper china(?) i wont share(?)

Think of Mr. Peacock sat in towers(?) fervid(?) up(?) aplomb

You can pay me you can buy me, you won't get it all

[Chorus]

Well I may be foolish made(?) the(?) switch(?) I may be one of yours

It ain't easy for a man like me to stay

But I know that I'm a rich man for the time I loved alone

May I have another day to carry on

[Chorus x3]

I can honestly say I have no idea, and if I did I would hate the fact I knew the song. Sounds like an inbreeding program that mated Al Stewart and The Ozark Mountain Daredevils.
