I have always loved more Clapton´s bands than his solo career. I´ll took here only albums released in the time band was still existing. I believe most here love Cream the most as I do, but really like to see does he´s other great bands get votes. Mine is Disraeli Gears. I think Wheels Of Fire studio is even better, but Toad in the live side is just too long.

Putting my 'Blues' hat on, I think I'll choose the 'Beano' album - still remarkably fresh to my ears after all these years.

I haven't heard all of these, but I went with Wheels of Fire. That was especially one of the most important albums to me in high-school, and I still love it. Disraeli Gears and Fresh Cream is up there too, and Derek and the Dominos' "Layla" is pretty great.
Incidentally, to me Cream is a great Proto-Prog/ Prog Related band.

Tough choice......probably a tie for me between Disraeli, Wheels, Blindfaith , and Layla.....I think his work was great on all of those. I really like Blindfaith and Disraeli Gears the most as studio albums.

Same here. Disraeli + Wheels of Fire studio is the perfect expression of psychedelic blues and would have made a killer double album
As far as Wheels live goes, I love Spoonful and while guitarists usually rave that Crossroads is the perfect EC blues solo, I like the Wheels studio version of "Sitting on Top of the World" much better. As far as Toad...well...it's not exactly a Carl Palmer or Barriemore Barlow class drum solo

Layla And Other Assorted Love Songs is the best album he's ever been associated with, far beyond his work with Cream. I also like Blind Faith for sentimental reasons.

| I really love Ginger drumming, but 15 minutes just is too much. I believe Bruford is maybe only drummer that can keep my interest 15 minutes, but he rarely make his solos so long. I think what I have heard only in that ABWH-live the solo last the longest and is really great!

Bruford is definitely one of the most inventive drum soloists as well...I love his Perpetual Change solo on Yessongs

Dominos was a great band, they got groove! About year ago I finally bought In Concert, it was really much better than it´s reputation! Also quite recently listened the whole Delay & Bonnie & Friends On Tour album, it´s really great too!

I dig the Layla album and have a longstanding relationship with it. We go back over 20 years. I've also had the Filmore gig for just as long and these days it is the only one I pull out. There is just so much more to the songs in a live setting - especially the Filmore.
I went for the boring choice: Disraeli Gears
