I am embarrased that I didn't see this welcome section before today....I am not too familar with  forums-  I  have been muddling through the online world for only a few years.   It is amazing that a site exists for "my" music I thought that I had lost it forever-  AND ! to top that, civil ,intelligent, and considerate  members!  This is a great trip for me!  thank you all for letting me be involved.  Previous attempts at communication online were a  digusting disappointment.  WOW -if you only knew......Anyway,  I was a child of the sixties  and am now a doddering  baby boomer[ in years only]  It's so cool that  nothing seems to have changed with the people who love this music.  It is a blast and when I put that head set on I'm right there -at home in my heart.  thanks SOOO much- sorry I'm such a sentimental  slob.......You are stuck with me now!

Hi Carol,

a big welcome from Italy!

What's your music, in particular?

Do you like Barclay James Harvest?

LOVE BJH  they satisfy my need for the melodic and kind, however I'm getting a taste for melodic prog metal.  I was suprised by Ayreon, excellent!

Welcome. As another oldie (not meant in a bad way) here I would recommend you check out more of the new bands reviewed here. Prog is alive and kicking and you will find lots of listings of newer bands that are just waiting for you to discover and come to appreciate.

I'm working on it. Do you know of any site that sells prog in mp3?  What do you all listen to?

There is an excellent concept album, Rain - Cerulean Blue, available for free download at www.telosmusic.net
see the link at the bottom of the page on telosmusic site for the downloads (sorry, about the manual typing, but for some reason the URL link button isn't placing the link in this post)

No, but check the archive section with band discographies, there's full mp3 songs for some of them for your dowload - completely free!
