This looks set to be another three-way Relayer race again, just like the sixth album poll, although I'm holding onto a Lifeline of hope that Novella will win this poll, in which case I'll celebrate with Rhapsodies of delight, for as long as The Spell remains unbroken.

Relayer, it has to be Relayer. No question. Novella would come second, and The Spell from the Enid, third. This is tough. I played Novella last week for the first time in years and I'd forgotten just how incredibly good it is. Trick of the Tail is also a great album, spoiled a bit by Robbery Assault and Battery. But Relayer is (probably) the best album by Yes (The Yes Album runs it close) so gets my vote ------------- A TVR is not a car. It's a way of life. |
