And one for my beloved King Crimson! For me, it is definitely the first and second part of the Larks' Tongues In Aspic suite. What is yours? Pleas feel free to leave a comment.

King Crimson is one of my favorite bands, so it’s quite hard to choose one particular song above the rest. From this list, Starless and Bible Black gets my vote.

Starless and Lizard are great, but not only is The Sheltering Sky just perfect at what it is (and was a true highlight when I saw them live in 2019), I also doubt it'll see many votes other than mine.

It has to be Starless.

Moonchild gets my vote. The instrumental second half really fascinates me.

Very tough. In The Wake, just to be different.

Great vote for a great track from an underrated record.

Larks' Tongues In Aspic I & II

I predict starless will get the most votes. It's very good but a bit sloppy towards the end and a bit overrated imo.

Yeah, I pulled the trigger for those as well even though I'm not sure why they were lumped together.

FraKctured, but I would have loved to see Larks' IV.

Tough, went for Epitaph because there is nothing else like it and Greg Lake is simply magnificent.

Why Larks of course.
Mesmerized by it.

Starless...then ITCOTCK.........and of course Larks Tongue is two tracks not one long song.......bad form there to combine them imho.

Starless might just be my all time favourite song so yeah...
It’s followed by Larks’ and Court

Epitaph.  Not a top tier band for me but they do have some stunning tracks.

The avatar implies you are a KC fan.
Starless...a bit 'sloppy towards the end'...? How so and which spot timewise?
Overrated? Probably....most of these favorite epics end up that way.

ITWOP just because of the incredibly simple and elegant mellotron solo in the middle

Great vote for a great track from an underrated record.

I picked up a used 30th anniversary copy of 'Wake' and fondly rediscovered the album. Great sound and an economic edit of Cat Food and Groon thrown in for the bargain. Underrated, yes, with Lake's last outing with the band, abetted by the late, great Gordon Haskell, packing a significant oomf in Crimso's sophomore effort.

It's between Epitaph and Starless, but since Epitaph needs more love, I went with it.

Starless overshadows everything else KC have done for me.

Porg for short. My love of music doesn't end with prog! Feel free to discuss all sorts of music with me. Odds are I'll give it a chance if I haven't already! :)

Could be any.

But the first thing I saw in the poll was 'Moonchild'... and captivated me. I think it goes well with the word 'epic', maybe also for being a challenging track, but for the misty/remote-past atmosphere it has.

I go with Moonchild.

(I (super) like them all, except maybe the 00's ones, that I'll be checking later; but the one that also winks an eye on me is 'The Devil's Triangle').
