My penultimate list of prog albums released in the 2010s, 25 choices to complement those offered you by Psychedelic Paul. Have fun! (And don't be afraid to try out any you don't know.)

Quite a few great ones: Ovrfwrd, Koenjihyakkei, Bubu, Damanek, Regal Worm...
But my vote goes to the Hausswolff.

Another vote for Anna von Hausswolff's terrific Dead Magic. That and Aviary (not in PA), which is from another great female artist who released a masterpiece that year are awesome releases. And I also much like another release from a female musician/composer/singer that year, Uboa's The Sky May Be (also not in PA).

Julia Holter's album is in my Top 10 for the year but, as you've mentioned, she's not a card-carrying member of PA's database. But, I LOVE to see Anna von Hausswolff getting some love! Her music and passion are examples of what make the last ten years so invigorating!

You know, I've never even heard of 24/25 groups here... and the one I've actually heard of, (Between The Buried And Me), I genuinely can't recall whether I have ever heard anything by them...
Guess I won't be voting...

Between Roz Vitalis, Sonar and Anna Von Hausswolff, I'm going with the latter. All three wonderful albums...

Indeed. I love Anna von Hausswolff's music (and Julia Holter especially for Aviary). I think it's been an amazing decade for various women who are composers/ singers/musicians/producers. Aside from those I mentioned, there are artists like Lingua Ignota, Chelsea Wolfe, Susanne Sundfør, Jenny Hval, Isabelle Thorn (aka Dear Laika). Yaya Kim etc. etc. The added estrogen is invigorating one might say.

This was a really good year. I will vote Far Corner over von Hausswolff, Ovrfwrd. And SONAR.
