Only eight (8) albums have qualified for the "final" runoff for 2011's most favored album. Voting has dwindled to 47 and 29, respectively, for the two preliminary polls (first posted one month ago yesterday)--perhaps due to waning interest or, more probably, to a lack of familiarity with the relatively newer musics and bands from only two years ago. Anyway. Do your duty …  if you wish.

Happy Armistice Day! Let's pray that war will not be chosen as the means to the inevitable end of human civilization.

I did not expect this outpouring of love for Mr. Hackett's album! I suppose his image is continually boosted by his near-ubiquitous presence on the touring scene--especially with his Genesis Re-Visited concerts and videos. I don't remember Shrouded getting this much love back in 2011 (though he did, of course, get attention. What would you expect: The man's a living legend!) (Perhaps it is the same effect happening here.)
