These are albums from 1972, 1982 and 1992. One vote.
I will be giving my vote to either Ys, Hybris or Caravanserai.

I love the Tangerine Dream, Frank Zappa, Art Zoyd and After Crying albums. All quite special to me, and hard to decide between them. I vote After Crying because I believe they will have the hardest time to win votes, but they deserve them!

Half of these have been special to me (including all of the 70s ones)... It's most between the Tangerine Dream, Art Zoyd and Zanov to me now, and I will go with Zanov's In Course of Time in time, of course. It actually could have been the other two, but badly playing with the words.

Watching while most appreciating a sunset in the moment need not diminish all the glorious sunsets I have observed before. It can be much like that with music for me.

I was hoping at least one person would vote for After Crying, so thanks! Same with Gevende on the last poll, but no takers yet on that one.

I really like Green Ray the debut by Zanov. Such a talented guy.

Much overlap in our tastes here, as even my favourite is probably Space Shanty, I'm also fond/very fond of Ys, Hybris and Caravanserai. Also Landberk's Riktigt Akta (not Lonely Land).

Now, this is a strange one....

Signals was incredibly important to me around 83... nothing touched it.

Images & Words the same in 92... nothing touched it.

Today? Well, I'd have to choose Space Shanty, narrowly over Zeit.

Went for Ys; the album that sees The Mars Volta teaming up with ELP, Amon Düll ll and an Italian Arthur Brown on vocals! What’s not to like?

Funny how things change. Zeit has no votes but plenty of mentions.

That's where my vote went as well. There's something hazy about this album. I don't know how to describe it. But it's right there with that Alphataurus album, my two all timers from Italy.

Funny you mention Riktigt Akta because I played these back to back a year or so ago and found myself more into Lonely Land. I've always said in the past that the one with the Swedish vocals is better. Anyway I have both so...

yes, Zeit is unique, even among the TD albums... a double album of four, incredibly slow atmospheric, minimalistic movements isn't everyone's cuppa and I have to be in the mood for it, but it does get under your skin. I have the Special Edn with the similar Klangwald on the reverse, and I can't listen to them both, back to back.

I do hope the part two comes out pretty soon, John. I got a list ready, and it will be interesting for me to see which I remove due your choices. I have some guesses, but I don't want to influence your list by mentioning any. There are many albums that I love from 2002, 2012 and 2022. I'm enjoying your series with or without accompanying polls by me.

So much pressure!
Alright, I'll do it sometime after I review Power Of Omens tonight.

I've also got Lonely Land, and I'd say it has some pluses compared to Riktigt Akta, but in total I prefer Riktigt Akta - not least due to the Swedish vocals.
