I've noticed that some people don't like signature with huge pictures, but to me they're only a good thing. It's much easier to recognize the poster if you have a signature. Some members here have very memorable sigs and I thought that a thread about those would be nice. This hasn't been done before has it? I don't want to limit it to only signatures so avatars are accepted too. So what are your favorite sigs/avatars on PA?
My favorites:
Rico has a good combination. His avatar fits perfectly with his sig.
Chamberry has an awesome avatar and his sig is great too.
Wizzie has one of the best avatars I've ever seen.
Aussie's avatar is hilarious.
Majestic Mayhem has had great sigs.
I liked the drawings in Geck0's sig, but he doesn't have them anymore.
I also like the recent purchases sigs that Ansen, Blowie and Abstrakt use.

A couple of people complained when I ditched my animated album-cover slideshow signature. Incidentally, after I did that I noticed one or two copycats springing up...
To be honest, being a nosey b*****d, I love these last.fm signatures, as it's great to see what other people have been sullying their ears with.

There are some great avatars and witty signatures but I am one of those who object to huge pictures in the signature. They detract from the actual post and in a long thread take several times longer to scroll through and result in many more pages. Nothing wrong with adding a picture to a post if it is apposite but not the same picture to the bottom of every post. IMO.

oh yes.
well in case it is totally unknown, my eye is actually the centric image of a painting Salvador Dali made it. at first I started doing crops of his paintings and to have those symbols as sig. then I stumbled upon the eye and immediately kept it.
with people liking it (especially velveteers - "please, don't change it...pleeeease), it's a sure permanent.
I did change it for two days though after I listened to Quadrophenia, impersonating myself as the old Cygmund.
right, Miracle enhanced the great power of the eye.
first it made it in a more fashionable size, at first it was stretched and rimel-painted around the corners.
then upon a crazy thought me and M.Mayhem discussed, MM told Ansen and he came with the blink magic.
that's the story of the never asleep Eye!

Ruben, what sign are you referring too?

The "good luck" sign that has alot of arrows going nowhere. It's pretty funny. Nice new avatar and sig by the way.

It's called The Magic Roundabout and it's a roundabout (obviously) where I live, Ruben. Those arrows don't go to nowhere either, they go to different places, including the town I live in.
Ansen, any chance you can edit my signature and put a transparant background on?

Ah, oh well, at least you tried. It's just annoying that it's got a white background, because when I post on a grey post, it looks silly.
Thanks though.
