Well here's another guilty-pleasure sort of thread to go along with Shakespeare's...

Simply, what prog songs do you like to sing along to?

A couple that come to mind for me are:

Undercover Man, VDGG - I love all the nuances of Peter Hamill's voice, and I love trying to get them right myself.

Dinosaur, King Crimson - Pretty much the same reason as above. "Ignorance has always has alway been, something I excel in, faalloowed by naaaaivety and priii--hiide" is my favorite line.

I guess La Villa Strangiato counts too, even though there are no lyrics.

It would take alot of confidence to ever think about singing these in public, but when I'm driving by myself, I wail, big-time.LOL

Wow, there's a lot. From KC I like to sing along with Belew: Walking on Air & Matte Kudasai. From Tull, Sossity  you're a woman, Just Trying to be...... Just to name but a few from my favourite bands.

Also, anything by Radiohead is good to sing along Wink

I sing syllables that sound remotely like the Italian language to Locanda Delle Fate's first.

When I sing along with music, it's usually Meat Loaf. Shoot me. Smile

I can sing everything I listen to, but I always especially enjoy Supper's Ready. After a few drinks I even do the motions.

Yeah when I saw them in concert, most of the audience was singing along. Granted, not too well, but still very melodic songs. I couldn't contain myself either. I rarely do in terms of singing along to stuff. LOL

The middle four songs on Wha-ha-ha's Shinotukiwa Betsu. although maybe that's humming because lyrics aren't involved.

I can sing Muse and Radiohead and all that semi-pseudo-prog stuff too, but who can't ;P

^ I was watching the Live8 Floyd performance last night and I was pretty surprised to find out I'm touched more by the sing-along prog of the Floyd (Dark Side-Wish-Wall "trilogy") that I don't really care about now that I grew up than the Floyd prog I actually like (Meddle-Pompeii-Animals). I don't think I would ever get down to singing with tears in my eyes on Echoes...
