Hello!
After reading some reviews and hearing a pair of songs from this swedish band called A.C.T., I think I'm going to buy one of their albums, because it all sounds really promising and interesting...
Usually, I start with the first album if this album is representative from the band's sound. But with A.C.T. I'm a bit confused, and I wish to know wich album do you think is the best to start with.
Wich album should I buy at first?
Thank you for your help!
José.

Start with the first and then you'll be forced to get all the rest. It's worth it!

OK, let's get one thing straight: A.C.T is the name; there is no third period. The first record is a good starting point, but you could start with Last Epic. It's widely considered their best (I agree), and it's easy to get into.

Then is wrong written in ProgArchives... I even checked it out, because I had this doubt!
Thank you for the information and the advice anyway.

I'd like to recommend you the second album "Imaginary Friends". It is their most accessible effort.

Their first three albums are fantastic, Silence is decent. I would listen to the Last Epic first (that's what I listened to first) because you'll get hooked on them and then you'll want to discover the rest of their material.

For a newcomer i recommend Imaginary friends from 2001 and then check out Last epic from 2003, both the best ACT albums so far.
