I've been reading about the new search engines now available like Cuil, Powerset, cluuz, Hakia.
I've tried Cuil and found it way too random and the responses none too relevant. I've just tried Powerset and was surprised at the quality of responses for a general phrase.
What d'y'all think ? Any others search engines out there ? I find Google gives too many citations.

I read recently that googles index just passed a trillion pages. I think it is the only search engine that contains a virtual copy of the whole web- not surprising that so many results are returned, but what is surprising is that you get so many results back in fractions of a second- talk about effeciency in a database management system. I find google to be the best, but you have to learn how to refine your search queries, then what you are after is usually in the first 5 of so return results.
